Why Choose JPR
Every child deserves care that’s personal, precise, and grounded in trust. My practice is a reflection of who I am.
“I genuinely care about my patients and their families. I love rheumatology, and I love kids. That passion drives me to be thorough, thoughtful, and deeply invested in every child’s care.”
— Dr. Joshi
Direct Access
I’m bringing the Direct Specialty Care model to pediatric rheumatology. Families have seamless, personal access to their child’s rheumatologist — no middlemen, no gatekeepers — just direct communication and timely care.
Telemedicine
Convenience should never come at the cost of quality. Telemedicine – a cornerstone of my practice – is efficient, secure, and family-friendly. No travel, no waiting rooms, no missed school or work –and it’s better for the planet too.
Joint Ultrasound
A game changer in pediatric rheumatology. With advanced ultrasound, I can detect arthritis with precision, scan multiple joints in a single visit, and share answers immediately and painlessly.
House Calls
When it matters most, I come to you. For joint exams, ultrasounds, and care coordination, I meet kids where they’re most comfortable — at home. This personal touch helps reduce stress and builds trust.
Why Is JPR Different
Care reimagined — personal, precise, and proactive.

Specialized Expertise
Certified in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (RhMSUS) — allows me to detect inflammatory arthritis with precision at the bedside, often avoiding MRI with sedation.
Integrative Medicine Fellowship
Recipient of the 2025 Lovell Jones Rheumatology Scholarship at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. I’m exploring global medical practices to bring families the best ideas in care.

My Philosophy
JPR is built on three core values: Trust, Access, and Excellence.
I call them my Whys — they represent the purpose behind why I started this practice and what guides me every day. Each “Why” is paired with a “How” — the strategy that brings it to life.
Trust → The Patient–Doctor Bond
The heart of my practice is the relationship between your child, your family, and me.
Without trust, medicine loses its spirit. At JPR, we take the journey to health together — learning from one another at every step to give your child the best possible care. Think of it as:g A Joint Effort.
Access → Direct Specialty Care
At JPR, there are no middlemen, no barriers — just seamless communication with your child’s doctor.
This model is called Direct Specialty Care — value over volume, access over bureaucracy.
Think of it as: Doctors Without Barriers.
Excellence → Evidence-Based Medicine
At JPR, care is anchored in the three pillars of Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM):
What you want — your family’s goals and values
What I know — my clinical experience and judgment
What science shows — the best research available
It’s the balance of these that defines truly excellent care.
Think of it as: Science with Soul.
Trust. Access. Excellence.
The way medicine should be practiced.
Beyond the White Coat
Medicine is my profession — but it does not define all of me.
When I’m not caring for kids with rheumatic conditions, you might find me curled up with a new book or lost in Khayal music, one of the most beautiful expressions of the human spirit I know.
In the kitchen, I experiment.
I love cooking and exploring new spices with the changing seasons, turning everyday meals into little adventures.
Fun fact about me: I’m an ENFJ-A, also called The Protagonist.
It means I am the type who can’t help but cheer people on and take action when something feels right — a trait that shows up in how I care for families every day.
Lifelong learner, endlessly curious.
Learning isn’t work to me— it’s fuel for becoming a better version of myself, refining my craft, and growing a little every day.
Home is Las Vegas.
Where I live with my husband, Sho — fun fact: we met on the NYC subway — and our teacup chihuahua, Burfi, who truly runs the show at home.
