“Exceptional medicine lives at the intersection of modern precision and traditional wisdom.”

Dr. Saumya Vinod Joshi, pediatric rheumatologist in Las Vegas, Nevada with his dog Burfi!

Hi, I’m Dr. Joshi — and I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a pediatric rheumatologist, which means I care for children, teens, and young adults with autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. I’m about five years out of fellowship, and during that time I’ve had the privilege of caring for families in a variety of settings—from large children’s hospitals to nonprofit clinics—and now through my own practice.

My medical training took me from India, where I earned my medical degree, to New York for pediatric residency, and then to Boston, where I specialized in pediatric rheumatology. While my training was very academic, what has shaped me most is listening to families and learning what truly helps children feel better in real life.

After fellowship, I worked at Arkansas Children’s Hospital as the only pediatric rheumatologist in the state. That experience taught me how important it is to be accessible, thorough, and deeply connected to the families I serve. During that time, I also became certified in musculoskeletal ultrasound, a gentle, radiation-free way to look at joints that kids usually tolerate very well.

I later moved to Las Vegas to lead the pediatric rheumatology program at Cure 4 The Kids Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to caring for children with complex medical needs. While I loved that work, I found myself wanting to practice medicine differently—with more time, fewer barriers, and stronger relationships with families.

That’s why I founded Joshi Pediatric Rheumatology in 2025. This is a concierge-style, direct-care practice built around partnership, access, and individualized care. I work with families in Arizona and Nevada, mostly through telemedicine, and I also offer in-home visits when a hands-on exam or ultrasound is needed. My goal is for families to feel supported, heard, and never rushed.

I’m also trained in Integrative Medicine through the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, which means I thoughtfully combine modern medical treatments with lifestyle, nutrition, and traditional healing approaches when appropriate. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all care—every child is different, and every plan should be too.

Most of all, I believe in building long-term relationships with families. I want parents to feel confident asking questions, children to feel safe and understood, and care plans to make sense in the context of real life.

We’re in this together, always!
